This Universal Remote couldn’t be any easier to program. All the major and minor brands are imprinted above each key. Simply turn the TV on, hold the “TV” button down on the remote, and press the corresponding remote key with your TV’s brand name on it. That’s all, two button presses and you’re done!
In the event your brand is not listed on the remote, you can try the program procedure with pressing the button labeled “Other Brands” on the bottom right of the remote or by using the “Auto Search” mode. A more detailed guide for Auto Search is included with the remote.
There are four different devices that can be programmed to this remote. Everything from Cable and Satellite boxes to Blu-ray and DVD players can be connected just as easily as the TV. Instead of pressing “TV”, simply press one of the other 3 buttons labeled CBL/SAT, DVD, and BD.
Once programmed, whatever device the remote is actively controlling will light up red when a button is pressed.
If you have a Smart-TV or have your TV connected to the internet, this remote features some shortcut buttons to make things easier. Prime Video, Netflix, and YouTube shortcut buttons are all included. Plus, you can also control your ROKU TV!
